14 June 2003 Four novices receive
the habit at St Dominic's, East Camberwell. On
the 14th of June, 2003, Father Carlos Azpiroz Costa, O.P., the 85th
successor of
our holy father, St Dominic, as Master of the Order clothed four new
novices in St Dominic's
Church, East Camberwell in Melbourne. They hail from Launceston
and Parramatta, Wollongong and Manly. The new recruits between
them hold degrees in arts, biblical studies, community services,
philosophy, science and theology.
They will undertake their Novitiate in Camberwell, Victoria under Fr Denis Hallinan, O.P. who has been Principal of Blackfriars Priory School, Prospect SA. ![]() The
