| Over eighty Dominicans - laity, sisters and friars - gathered to celebrate a Dominican Family day on Friday, 2nd July, on the theme of preaching.
Leading reflection and discussion on the document from the special theological Commission set up in 2001 to study preaching
was Sr Kathleen Cannon, O.P. of the Adrian Dominican Sisters, U.S.A. Earlier, on the Wednesday, Brothers Peter Martin and Paul Rowse had made their first profession in the hands of Fr Tom Cassidy, Provincial. At Mass on Friday, Mr Syd Cooke who was received into the Order as a lay Dominican. The friars have now begun their chapter, and will be electing their new Provincial later in the week.
